Publishing your podcasts was always the hard bit. Opinion for iOS now makes it really easy

Recording a podcast is the easy part. Publishing it so people can listen to it and subscribe to your feed via apps like iTunes can be more tricky for beginners. iOS app Opinion has already tackled recording and editing, and with its latest update it’s addressing the publishing side of the equation.

Publishing a podcast with Opinion takes less than a minute. You give your podcast series a name, enter an episode name and description and it’s uploaded to the ‘Made With Opinion’ site, like this:

From there, visitors can bookmark your page or use the supplied feed link to subscribe to your series in their favorite podcast player.

I’ve seen nothing as simple and straightforward for getting started in podcasting as Opinion. It’s still iOS-only, which is something the Seedcamp-backed startup will need to address, and editing lacks finesse (no ability to fade music out, for example) but there’s a really great product coming together here.
