Fans of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are, presumably, already aware of Mac’s video autobiography dubbed ‘Project Badass.’ Today, the biopic became a VR experience that’s every bit as hilarious as you’d imagine.

Project Badass VR gives you a front-row seat to Mac’s next death-defying stunt. This time, Mac… well, it’s probably better to let him set up the stunt:

Mac: We will be firing down this speedway…

Dee: It’s a cardboard ramp.

Mac: Through a stream of state-of-the-art pyrotechnics…

Dee: Charlie with a smoke bomb.

Mac: We’ll hit the launch zone, where we will careen through the air and plummet…

Dee: To your certain deaths.

Mac: We will plummet to the safety of the crashing ocean, 100 feet below.

I’m not going to give away the ending, but in typical Always Sunny fashion, it didn’t quite go as planned.

Shot by Palo Alto-based VR studio Jaunt, the mini-episode masterfully captures the essence of the Always Sunny crew. It’s short, but the rag-tag bunch of miscreants manage to squeeze an episode’s worth of laughs into just a few minutes of 360-degree footage.

Frank, on the right, starts the scene sharing a snow cone with a stripper before she starts removing her clothes to Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk. Dee, in her typical reassuring tone, wants to emphasize that you’ll soon be dead. Dennis admits that you’re attractive, although not “his type of attractive.”

And Charlie? Well, he manages to screw everything up, in typical Charlie fashion.
