Developers can now tap into the Postmates 6,000 strong delivery system thanks to APIs announced today.

According to Postmates, developers can “integrate a world-class local delivery platform into your app using the Postmates API.”

For end users, they will be able to get on-demand deliveries with real-time tracking without leaving an app using the Postmates API.

The company also announced six partners using the API including Threadflip, Curbside and Betabrand.
