Periscope announced today that users can now set up Web profiles for the streaming service.
All you have to do is go to periscope.tv/username to see a person’s profile and their recent broadcasts. For example, you can go to periscope.tv/thenextweb to check us out.
In the announcement made on Medium, Periscope said:
We think it’s really important for broadcasters to have a home on the Web, and today’s launch is just the beginning.
After hitting the 10 million user milestone, Periscope wanted to ensure continued growth. It’s traditionally a mobile-centric app, so Web profiles could help create a little more engagement for desktop users.
