Pebble owners that also happen to own an Android phone should do a little dance about now. The smartwatch now supports Android Wear.

Updated today, the beta version of the Pebble app for Android supports Android Wear notifications and you can interact with those notifications just like on one of those fancy new Android smartwatches. The beta is open to everyone willing to sign up to the beta testing group.

The update brings all the expected Android Wear features to the watch. For example, as shown in the video below, you can reply to a Google Hangouts message with emoji.

So there you go, your Pebble just got an upgrade.
