A week after adding support for prepaid gift cards, payments giant PayPal has launched its own digital gift store to allow US -based customers to buy gift cards for friends and family using its service.
The PayPal Digital Gifts store has launched with one initial partner — Apple, which is offering iTunes vouchers — but PayPal promises it “will be adding more very soon,” and will also list deals and offers periodically.
To buy: customers select the gift, enter their PayPal account details to pay, and then provide details of the person it is being sent to.
