All Things Digital is reporting that long-time Oracle exec Amit Singh has joined the team at Google, with a focus on enterprise applications in the cloud. It is no surprise to anyone who has watched Google, of late, to find the company pushing their cloud applications.
According to the article, Google’s approach is to focus on the recruiting of Fortune 500 companies to use the cloud applications. Singh credits his son’s fondness of cloud computing to sparking his own interest.
Singh and his family (wife Monika and 3 children) are on the move from the Boston area to Mountain View, CA for the new position.
