But today, and for a limited time, onOne is offering just such a deal with its Perfect Effects 8 Premium Edition. The software comes as a standalone package and as a plugin for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Aperture, and Lightroom.
Update: The promotion will last until May 12. onOne confirms this morning (Pacific Time) that there have been ,”Website issues due to the huge amount of traffic being sent to us,” and thus problems with downloading the software.

Perfect Effects 8 offers an extensive library of presets, filters and tools that help give images a boost, or perhaps a special mood. These filters let you paint in effects anywhere on the image, create and reuse your own presets, and stack and blend filters into unique combinations.
