Notepad.cc: The minimalist notepad in the cloud.

This is possibly a little too cool for its own good.

Visit Notepad.cc, start typing in the white area and the text is saved. Grab the short URL on the bottom of the page, add a password too if you wish, share with others or visit the URL on other devices – works great on the iPad.

You can collaborate on pages but you won’t see changes in real time a la Google Wave, I was hoping you would – probably the only down side.

There are other simple web based notepad ideas out there (see SimpleNote, Simpletext) but nothing that manages to remain this simple and still include a few notable features. If you’re a developer however, you should definitely check this out.
