It’s been a while since Nokia announced its Lumia 1320 phablet, but the six-inch device is finally going on sale in the US, where it will be available exclusively via Cricket. The phone is priced at $279.99 off-contact, and includes support for 4G LTE networks.
We got hands-on with the device at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi back in October 2013 and were pretty impressed by its display and the fact that it doesn’t feel too bulky, despite being larger than regular Lumia models.
The device is pitched firmly in the ‘affordable’ space, and is one of Nokia’s most-notable low-end devices. As well as a six-inch, 720p screen, the Lumia 1320 includes a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor. The device initially runs Windows Phone 8, but Nokia says an update for Windows Phone 8.1 will be available soon.
