Nintendo stunned fans of its gaming brand earlier this month when it released a three-minute video showing off its upcoming Switch console. However, it seems to have left us with more questions than answers.
Thankfully, the company has confirmed that it will announce more details about the device on January 12 at an event called the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017. It will also simultaneously host a reveal and demo event in Japan; Nintendo noted it will also show off more games lined up for the actual launch there.

We’re naturally hoping to hear about pricing and availability, and while some publications believe those will be revealed there, we can’t be completely sure just yet. Of course, we’ve contacted Nintendo to confirm.
For those out of the loop, the hybrid gaming device is portable and can be used on the go by one or two players, and can even network with other Switches. It can also be docked to allow you to play on your TV while using a separate controller.
The Switch is set to become available in March 2017, but that’s all we know for now. January 12 can’t come soon enough.
