Yet again, more leaks have emerged relating to Nokia’s upcoming Lumia 820 and 920. This time, we have a sneak peek of the purported Nokia wireless charging pad, which may or may not come standard with devices.
Note that, judging by the micro-USB connector at the end of the phone, it appears that a standard charging cable should also be offered.
If these photos, which were surfaced by evleaks, are legit, they provide reinforcement of Nokia’s commitment to stray away from the Apple-like design spirit in favor of something much bolder and louder. Here’s another shot, showcasing what appears to be a matching bluetooth headset:
We first saw the Luna Bluetooth Headset back at CES 2012, and now it looks like at least new colors are in the works.
We’ve spoken with sources close to the situation and from what we can tell, these images are close to the final products Nokia will launch at its upcoming event. Nokia is due to hold its Windows Phone 8 launch event in New York City on September 5, finally confirming the specifications and launch dates for the device.
Full disclosure: I am a minority Nokia shareholder
