Following the launch of its Facebook-based social recommendations in September, Netflix is now extending the feature to its Android app.

The update brings movie and TV show recommendations to Netflix users’ Android devices via rich notifications; you can watch, get more info, or thank your friend for a recommendation.

Netflix has also worked on an Android Wear integration that sends these recommendation alerts to your smartwatch too, with the aforementioned actions available on your wrist.
