Netflix today released its Q4 2013 earnings, revealing it added 2.33 million US subscribers and 1.74 million international subscribers last quarter. As a result, the company now has more than 30 million members in the US and 10 million members internationally, for a total of more than 44 million members globally at the end of 2013.
At the same time, Netflix says it plans a “substantial European expansion” later this year. “Our success this year in international net additions and shrinking contribution losses confirms our belief that there is a big international opportunity for Netflix,” the company said in its shareholder letter.
