National Net Ventures (aka N2V) an Internet holding company which core business is to develop online and interactive web-based ventures, has just announced that it has invested an undisclosed (and reportedly huge) amount in Yebab.com, the Arabic portal specialized in organizing wedding celebrations in the United Arab Emirates.
N2V which invests capital in a wide variety of ventures from start-ups to established companies, also offers infrastructure, resources and tools, experience and know-how so as to accelerate the growth of the Arab Internet industry and match global players in size and in eminence.
The site Yebab.com offers listings for the various suppliers and services needed at a wedding, from caterers to dressmakers, artists, photographers and traditional musicians.
Yebab co-founder Mr. Murshed Mohamed said that the project will improve and upgrade the quality of services provided to its visitors.
The content from Yebab.com which has been very successful in the UAE and which is one of the leading portals specialized in providing wedding services in the Arab world, is expected to be an excellent addition to N2V and especially to HawaaWorld.com.
“By integrating both portals, we will be offering more value to women online communities in the Arab world,” stated Rashid Al Ballaa CEO of N2V.
Ahmad Takatkah – Investment Programs Manager at N2V said that investing in Yebab.com is part of N2V’s new investment programs that target early and growth stage web ventures in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and Egypt.
