This girl, named Geminoid F, is a big leap forward in android technology. Her expressions are a lot more real than her predecessors and she’s the first to be able to achieve a “toothy smile”.
She’s a bit creepy-looking for sure, but not as unnerving as some of the androids of the past. Could it be that robots are on their way out of the ‘uncanny valley’ and we’ll soon accept them as ‘human’?
