You may have heard about Uber’s awesome experiment this past Friday, where the company allowed city dwellers in New York, DC, San Francisico and more to request an actual ice cream truck in case they happened to be looking for a cool, sugary treat in the summer heat.
The idea was right up our alley, so TNW went along for the ride to show you what it was like for the lucky few that were able to get their hands on the truck.
Believe me when I say the requests were through the roof. Uber send out an email stating that they plan to have many more trucks on the road next time, if they offer this service again…
Hopefully we’ll see Uber doing more things like this really soon. Don’t forget the company’s previous wild idea: ¡On-Demand Mariachi Fiestas!
