Microsoft today revealed the new Microsoft Remote Desktop app for Android, iOS, and OS X has passed the 1 million download mark. Furthermore, the company says Remote Desktop is now the fastest growing Android app from Microsoft, ever.

Given that the app was released on October 17, that means the milestone was achieved in less than two weeks. While that’s certainly reason to celebrate, we’re still waiting for the company to bring the app to its own mobile platform.
