Microsoft isn’t just thinking cross-platform with its apps – it’s opening up its games to other manufacturers too.
The company today announced it was bringing two Halo games to iOS. Halo: Spartan Strike is a new game set during the events of Halo 2. It costs $5.99.
Spartan Strike is of course also coming to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, but this marks the first time a game in the series has been available on iOS.
iOS is also getting a build of Halo: Spartan Assault today, which precedes the new game. Players can get both games together for $9.99.
