Microsoft pushes China Xbox One launch date back to September 29

Update: The Xbox One has finally gone on sale in China.

Microsoft had pencilled in September 23 for the Xbox One’s launch in China, but now it has been delayed by almost a week.

As Reuters reports, the Xbox One will arrive in China on September 29, representing the first such launch following a 14-year ban on foreign games consoles.

The console will cost 3,699 yuan (around $600) sans Kinect, and 4,299 yuan ($700) with the motion-detecting accessory.
