Microsoft today released the Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 RC to testers today, in a step towards the release of the final version of Windows 7 SP1.
SP1 is expected to be released at the beginning of 2011, and will include a number of fixes and security updates (which is usually the case of course) and hopefully will improve on what is already a solid OS.
Windows 7 recently had its one-year anniversary, with Microsoft announcing that it has sold 240 million licenses in that one year span.
