At its event in New York today, Microsoft announced a spec update for the Surface Book.
Microsoft says the newest version of the laptop has twice the graphics performance with an Intel i7 processor, a custom Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M 2GB chip, and 30 percent more battery.
The company claims that the refreshed device will offer up to 16 hours of use on a single charge. You’ll also find SSD storage options going from 256GB up to 1TB; you can also choose from 8GB and 16 RAM configurations. Meanwhile, the chassis is exactly the same size as before.
The new i&-based Surface Book starts at $2,399 and goes up to $3,299, depending on your choice of RAM and onboard storage options. If you’re in the US, you can pre-order it now and expect to receive it on November 10.
