MENA ICT Forum Gets a Startup Pitch Session: Time to Get Busy

Petra Monastery in JordanIn what appears to be a slight shift in the event’s program Microsoft, Oasis500 and Int@j have decided to give seven lucky startups support via Microsoft’s Bizspark which is designed to do just that.

On the 10th of October, 2010 three entrepreneurs will receive a 20 minute time slot [10 minutes pitch and 10 minutes Q&A] to present their business to Microsoft Corporate Vice President in a private session alongside the MENA ICT Forum. Winners will also receive free licenses to the latest Microsoft software through the Microsoft BizSpark program (worth JD 200,000 in value).

So if you are a startup company in ICT or Digital Media check out their list of info you need to send before Sunday, 3rd of October, 2010 to answer their question:“Why you think you deserve to pitch?”.

Ms. Rula Ammuri, Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan stated in a press release earlier today: “Supporting startups in Jordan is a top priority for Microsoft. The Startup Pitch Session is a translation of this commitment and it will be a valuable opportunity for Startups to build connections with Microsoft and to help them grow their businesses.”
