Medium for iOS today gets a much-needed update to allow users to write and publish drafts on the go. The app even allows you to write a post using voice dictation if you’re feeling too poetic to type.
All the basic features of a typical Medium post are there: title, subtitle, quote formatting, photo uploads. The only caveat is that you can only write one draft on the mobile app at a time, with the post saved locally. Only after you publish or delete the draft, you can start anew.
At this time the update does not allow draft sharing, syncing or editing, but the company says it’s working on adding those features.
Today’s update does come with new tap to continue reading feature, in-post media and stats display – so there’s a bunch of little nuggets for you to play with for the time being.
