Last week, we showed you Seth Bling’s MarI/O neural network mastering Super Mario World. Now it’s taken on Mario Kart and got good at racing depressingly quickly, with the help of a modified script by Winterbunny:

Just as it did with Super Mario World, MarI/O attacks Mario Kart via a process of trial and error, learning how to navigate the track and deal with other racers, power-ups and pitfalls. While we were watching it nailed 1st place.
