This Saturday, May 29, a one week, worldwide competition for location-based startups called Location Wild will commence to see who can make the most innovative use of either the Nakd Reality or SimpleGeo APIs.
Judges will be Slashdot’s Rob Malda, Direction Magazine’s Adena Schutzberg, TechCrunch’s Erick Schonfeld and myself.
“Location-based technologies are getting increasing attention worldwide, so we felt the time was right to showcase how easy it has become to create a winning startup in this space,” says Paula Abrahamson, CEO of NakdReality and coordinator of Location Wild.
Winners will be announced on June 19. The winner will receive $2,500, an iPad and of course, exposure on The Next Web and the other publications listed above.
