After releasing tools for sharing stickers, taking selfies, banging out emoji and making group calls, messaging service Line has launched a new mobile app that lets users share their location with contacts in real-time.

Available for Android and iOS, Line Here aims to make it easy for people to find out where their family and friends are or when their contacts arrive at a set destination, without having to message or call them.

You can create a location sharing room to see where everyone in your group is, on a map — handy if you’re getting together for an event. Each room supports up to 200 members.

If you don’t want people to know your every move, you can set a timer for how long Here shares your location with contacts and in rooms.

Parents can also set up Line Here to receive alerts when their kids arrive at home or school.

Line Here is free to use, but you’ll need to verify yourself using your Line or Facebook account to get started. The app certainly isn’t the first of its kind (Jink does a good job too), but it could give Line’s 205 million+ users another reason to stick with the messaging service.
