It seems Mobile World Congress 2011 is going to be one to remember, at least for Samsung judging by the leaked press schedule that is all but confirming the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 and a successor to the Galaxy Tab, the conventionally named Galaxy Tab 2.
Electronista got its hand on the schedule, which quite clearly underlines the location in Barcelona where the event is to be held.
The Galaxy S 2 is rumoured to feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual-core processor, an 8MP camera and also a front camera for video calling. As for the Galaxy Tab 2, we don’t know much about the tablet device – it could turn out to be the 10-inch tablet that Samsung has already confirmed was in development, it could also be an upgrade to the existing 7-inch Galaxy Tab to prepare for competition from the soon-to-be-announced iPad 2.
All will be known come Mobile World Congress (haven’t we been saying that a lot recently?), we will of course update you as more information becomes available.
