The “Just For Kids” section has only been a part of the Netflix site and most recently the Nintendo Wii since its inception. That changes today with permanent placement on Netflix for Apple TV.
The announcement was tucked away under its rollout of new user interfaces for iOS products today and availability in Latin America.
Now when you visit Netflix on Apple TV, you’ll see “Just For Kids” in the main menu:
Along with this extremely prominent placement, the section has also gotten special treatment in its user experience, allowing kids to surf for movies based on characters, much like you can on the Netflix website:
I’d love to see a graphical actor interface like this for all of Netflix, actually.
