China Mobile, the world’s largest operator with over 740 million customers, has released a teaser for its 4G service touting launch dates of November 9-11, spotted first by Unwired View.
The teaser builds on expectations of the iPhone arriving for China Mobile customers soon, given that Apple has already gained regulatory approval for its iPhones to run on the TD-LTE standard used by China Mobile for its 4G networks.
There has been no official word yet on when China will issue its 4G licenses, but many reports point to some time in November, and it seems China Mobile is confident enough to pin down a date for its customers.
