If you’re wondering when you’ll be able to walk into an Apple Store and buy the new iPhone 7, one leaker is claiming September 16 is that day — just as we thought it might be.
Evan Blass, better known to many as EvLeaks, previously noted that pre-orders for the iPhone 7 would begin on September 12. Now his sources claim the phones will hit stores on the 16th:
Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.

Blass doesn’t say who’s feeding him information (for obvious reasons), but he’s typically pretty spot-on, so I’m at least willing to believe the 16th is fairly recent information.
So clear your credit cards and get ready for pre-orders: the iPhone 7 is right around the corner.
