iPhone 4S hands-on video demos Siri menus and impressive browser benchmarks

With the news that Apple sold over 1 million iPhone 4S units in just 24 hours still fresh in people’s minds, the first hands-on video with Apple’s new smartphone has hit the Internet, demonstrating browser benchmarks and giving us the first look at Apple’s new Siri technology and the options it provides on the device.

Macrumors shared the video, which was originally posted to Chinese forum AppVV.com, showing Siri menu toggles that include the language settings, voice feedback and how to initialise the voice-input via Raise to Speak. It’s interesting to note that it allows you choose to activate Siri by holding down the home button or by raising your handset to your ear.

The Sunspider browser test delivers a total score of 2222.1ms and a BrowserMark score of 89567. The iPhone 4 running iOS 5 shows a BrowserMark score of 44856, confirming that the iPhone 4S is twice as fast as its predecessor – at least in the browser.
