Interactive Map of Surnames in the U.S

National Geographic has created an interactive map of surnames in the United States. The map highlights common surnames by area, displaying the most common family names in a larger font. One of the most interesting aspects of the map is its colour-coded feature that shows the surname’s country of origin.
