Watch an incredible 3D printed Batman suit in action

Sure, you could just play Batman in the recently-released ‘Arkham Origins’ but an Irish company has taken Dark Knight fandom to the next level.

Galway-based studio Order 66 Creatures and Effects scanned the outfit from the game and worked with prototying firm Tundra Designs and effects company Gauntlet FX to create a full-size, 3D-printed replica.

Ditching the traditional approach of sculpting and casting armor cut the time to create the costume in half. It took the team just four weeks to build.

The outfit includes a folding Batarang, fireball shooting gauntlets and built-in video screens.
