If you’re anything like me, you were delighted to hear Google had gone all b(l)ing and made it possible to add a background image to your Google homepage. If you’re anything like me, you were also very disappointed to hear you were going to have to wait before the feature became enabled for you.
Good news. You don’t have to wait.

The only downside is that it only works on the main google.com site, not google.co.uk or any other international domain. If you’re abroad, you’ll need to bookmark http://google.us.
