It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and that means you are about to spend far too much money trying to remind your significant other why they fell in love with you in the first place, or placating yourself as to why you are single.
Whatever the case, email remains an important tool in every business setting, and that combined with the upcoming social holiday means that some awkward situations are on the horizon.
Microsoft’s Hotmail team, perhaps a group who knows all too well, took the time to compile a plethora of statistics on email usage on and around Valentine’s Day. Oh boy is it cringe worthy. To start things off, 1/4th of you have been caught sending sexy emails at work. We applaud you, but how did you laugh it off? How long did the stares linger?
What is really odd (or awesome, depending) is that according to Hotmail’s data, 4% of you have actually “discussed a sexual fantasy and then acted it out at work.” Here is the real question: did Hotmail interview their own team to accrete the data that they used? If so, the Hotmail team is sounding niftier by the day.
Depending on the ‘sexual fantasy,’ is that a fireable offense?
The rest of the results are in the infographic below. Sure, it’s ugly, but what thing have you ever seen covered in vibrant pink that was actually pretty?
