Room-booking platform HotelTonight has today announced it has added rate tracking and tabs to its iOS app.
Rate tracking means that you can track the changing prices of hotels in cities that you’re interested in by tapping the new ‘Track It’ button to receive daily notifications. When you choose this option, you will also get notified about other hotels in your chosen city that have added rooms.
According to HotelTonight, the rates often go down as the check-in day gets closer, but there’s always a risk that if you don’t take the deal when you see it, someone else might beat you to it, so be aware!
The update is also bringing tabs back into the mix. You can now swipe left and right between hotels, your account page, search, bookings and the all-important credits.
