HootSuite Launches An Affiliate Program

HootSuite, the Vancouver-based Twitter client, has just launched a 50% affiliate program surrounding their product recommendations. If you’ve never heard of HootSuite, it’s a powerful Twitter app that we’ve given some love to in previous posts.

Its new program, started this morning, allows HootSuite Pro and Enterprise plan users to earn commissions when a new customer is referred to one of its Pro, Enterprise or University learning programs. In addition to a 50% cut on the referrals upgrading (within 2 months, first payment), its new monetized program brings an analytics dashboard for tracking your marketing campaigns including promotional material like banners. And users will be paid out via their PayPal account once the $100 threshold is reached.

By using the affiliate links provided within the new dashboard, users are able to track the campaign-links when clicked on, through your blog, social networks, email and chat. If you were already spreading the word about HootSuite, it’s now possible to earn some cash for it.
