As many of you will be aware, The Next Web has been working with the European Commission on the Europioneers Awards, its mission to find Europe’s Tech Entrepreneur of the Year AND Europe’s Young Tech Entrepreneur of the Year (aged 30 and under on 24th April 2013).
After over 800 nominations, we’ve whittled down the list to a final ten in each of the two categories and at London Web Summit today, we proudly announced who the final 10 finalists were.
You can find the full list here, congratulations to everyone involved.
Get Voting!
Today you can begin voting for who you believe should be the final winner of this prestigious accolade. You can vote for one person in each of the two categories, and the final five most voted finalists will be put through to the last stage where a hand picked jury of tech illuminati will select the final winner.
As mentioned previously, there are two categories for the award: European Tech Entrepreneur of the Year, and Young European Tech Entrepreneur of the Year, for those entrepreneurs under the age of 30. Voting closes on the 21st March.
The award show will take place in April and the award will be handed out by the Vice President of the European Commission, Neelie Kroes on the 24th April in Amsterdam.
