Hope you have a great day spent with family and/or friends and manage to celebrate the great country that Australia is, in your own special way.
While I wasn’t familiar with Australian of the Year, Patrick McGorry, before today it’s good to see him using his influence immediately to try and effect some positive change.
On a tech note, I’m a little disappointed with the Google Australia Day logo – but hey, it’s nice that they have one.
Anyway, I’m off to a BBQ to tell anyone who’ll listen about how kick-ass the Aussie tech startup scene is becoming.
