Han Solo is finally getting his own movie. We don’t know much about what to expect other than that it will focus on Solo’s backstory, but there’s some real talent behind it.
The film will be helmed by the co-directors of ‘The Lego Movie’, Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. And no, it won’t be about a brick-form Solo and Chewbacca.
Other names include father-and-son team Lawrance and Jon Kasdan writing the screenplay. Father Kasdan is best known for writing and directing ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, as well as co-writing the screenplays for ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, ‘Return of the Jedi’, and upcoming ‘The Force Awakens‘.
The movie is due for release on May 25, 2018, so it’ll be a few years before we get to learn more about Solo’s backstory, but we can’t wait for the lovely Star Wars-filled future awaiting us.
