GoPro’s Hero4 camera is getting a new firmware update that will bring 240fps slow-motion video in high definition soon, but Gizmodo’s already got footage that shows off how good snowboarding looks in slow-mo.
The firmware update brings not only slow-motion in HD, but also an upgraded time lapse feature that can record at a whopping 4K resolution. A bunch of other features, like auto-rotate for videos, are inbound too.
It’s not clear when the update is coming out, but owners of the GoPro Hero4 are going to love this. Expect a bunch of people doing extreme things in slow-mo on YouTube very soon.
