Google’s Santa Tracker is back with new coding courses, geography games and more

Google’s Santa Tracker is back with new coding courses, geography games and more

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes along Google’s annual Santa Tracker. Every day from today until Christmas, new games and ‘scenes’ will show up in Google’s Santa’s Village page.

As with last year’s version, you can send your friends a call from Santa, view Santa’s journey on a map, or play Reindeer racing games.

But of course, there’s a ton of new content coming as well – there are geography games to let you explore holiday traditions around the world, you can learn how to say ‘Santa’ in different languages and there’s even a coding project that teaches you JavaScript as you help Santa get on his journey.

You can access these from phones, tablets and TVs as well as your desktop via the web, or you could pull up the dedicated app if you’re on Android. For desktop users, there’s still the Chrome extension to make your Santa tracking habits easier.

Google suggests you watch out for updates to page (their emphasis), as it notes there are more surprises to come. Perhaps some Android Wear holiday goodness to come? We’ll find out soon enough.
