Google’s My Tracks, a mainstay for Android users who want to track outdoor walks or bike rides, is being shut down.
In announcing its decision, Google says it “made the tough decision to invest our efforts into other, more wide-reaching, mapping projects.”
The company offers up alternatives to look into, including Google Fit, Strava and Endomondo. You won’t be able to use My Tracks after April 30, but you can export any data to Google Drive or an external server at any time using the step-by-step instructions laid out by Google.
