Update: This article has been updated to correctly indicate that a cake was sent to Fancy from Apple, when it was actually sent by Google.

Yeah so there was a miscommunication about this cake, and we have to take the blame here, sorry. It was Google, not Apple that sent a cake to Fancy to commemorate the launch of Google+ Sign-In, which yes, makes more sense. We talked to Google and they confirmed they sent the cake. Unfortunately despite our efforts to confirm that this cake was sent as a joke from Apple, we weren’t as thorough as we thought we were. Our apologies on the pastry mishap.
