Google search results now displays the lyrics to some of your favorite songs

Looking for the lyrics of your favorite tunes? Well, Google now displays the lyrics to some of your favorite songs directly in the search results.

Noticed by this Google+ user, when you search for the lyrics of some songs, you’ll see the result presented in a card-style format. This is probably bad news for sutes like Metro Lyrics and AZ Lyrics that have been the go-to resource for anyone wanting to practice their karaoke skills.

The good news for these lyric sites is that not all songs lyrics show up in the search results. While The Smiths’ How Soon is Now appeared, Le Tigre’s Deceptacon did not.

The lyrics are sourced from Google Play Music. So there’s a good chance if the artist released an album or song with a lyric book, it should be available via search.
