Google started with search and that’s what it still does best. To that end, today it updated its Google Search app for Android 4.1 with a new Chromecast feature and a way to help commuters.
Commuters can now set an alarm for when it’s time to get off the bus or train — a pretty great feature for anyone who reads on public transportation or is visiting a new city.
For Chromecast owners, it added a Things to Watch feature, which does exactly what you think it’ll do. It suggests things to watch on your Chromecast via a Google Now Card.
It also has the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.
