Google today announced app indexing now works for all English content worldwide. The company says it is continuing to onboard more publishers in “all languages” but isn’t sharing when it will expand support beyond English.

Google has also added support for 24 more apps: 500px, AOL, BigOven, Bleacher Report, Booking.com, Eventbrite, Glassdoor, Goodreads, Huffington Post, Merriam-Webster, Pinterest, Realtor.com, Seeking Alpha, TalkAndroid, TheFreeDictionary, The Journal, TripAdvisor, Tumblr, Urbanspoon, Wattpad, Yellow Pages, Zagat, Zappos, and Zillow. The original 13 apps are as follows: AllTrails, Allthecooks, Beautylish, Etsy, Expedia, Flixster, Healthtap, IMDb, Moviefone, Newegg, OpenTable, Trulia, and Wikipedia.

While 37 apps is not a lot of apps by any means, it’s certainly a start, and shows that at least some developers are interested in leveraging Google search to boost their app usage. Google Search for Android first started showing results from apps back in December, but only for the US. Now that support is global, we can expect many more apps to jump on board.
