Google offers some suggestions for your Google.com background.

Google offers some suggestions for your Google.com background.

When Google gave us the option to add a background image to the Google.com homepage, we were thrilled.  The only problem is, some of our personal pictures just didn’t look so good as a homepage background.

Today, according to the Google Blog, the company is giving some assistance with that very problem.

From the blog:

To provide you with an extra bit of inspiration, we‘ve collaborated with several well-known artists, sculptors and photographers to create a gallery of background images you can use to personalize your Google homepage.

Want to browse through the choices?  They are available in plenty.  Just click on the Change Background Image link in the bottom left of your Google.com page and flick to your heart’s content.

[As an aside, some astute readers have noticed that this is the same image that I used for another post, stating that perhaps Google was taking a position in the BP oil fiasco.  That post was a knee-jerk reaction, and as I’ve not yet been able to confirm my suspicion, I’ve pulled the post until such a time as it can be either confirmed or denied.]
