Google today updated the Google Search for Android app with a new travel feature: “Find alternate flights.” If your flight is delayed or canceled, you can now tap that link to see what your options are. You can download the new version now directly from Google Play.

As you can see above, the new feature will show you a list of available flights, as well as give you the necessary information to get your flight rebooked. This only adds to the growing list of Google Now features for travelers, including showing you the weather at your destination before you leave, traffic on the way to the airport, your flight status, automatic display of boarding passes for some airlines, reservation details plus directions to the car rental center and your hotel, tickets to a booked show or a concert, as well as suggestions to explore nearby attractions, events and photo spots.
